Some of my favorite books.
The System of the World. Actually, I've been reading it for as long as I've been working at Six Apart. I read the first two books in the trilogy -- Quicksilver and The Confusion -- very quickly as they came out. But I got as far as about page 300 of System and have been stuck there ever since.
