Lance is somewhere in the peloton of the second picture. He didn't win today's stage and is now 4th overall.
For the fourth year in a row, our family will have a booth at the Kings Mountain Art Fair and we'd love to see you come by and say hi. The Art Fair has taken place every Labor Day weekend since the 1960's and has become one of the bigger west coast fairs. It also supports our local fire station, school and community center.
In 2003, we started Pavlov's Bell: Toys and Treats for your Pet. We sell our home made toys for dogs and cats (the catnip mice and squeeky dog bones are a specialty) as well as home cooked treats for dogs, cats and horses. The kids (at this point, just the girls) do all of the selling and the whole family (at this point, just the girls) do all of the manufacturing. Did I say it was a family thing? I really mean Renée, Dagmar and Astrid.
Please come by to visit them and support our local community. The fair runs 10am - 5pm, Saturday through Monday of Labor Day weekend. You can't go to the east bay anyway, the bridge is closed. So visit us in the woods!
Along the river named for the beer.
We got a lot of snow last night although it had already started to melt by the time these pictures were taken. It's mostly gone around here although as this picture shows, it was still pretty snowy (and icy) on Skyline in the mid afternoon.
Renee took most of the pictures in this collection. The one of Shadow with snow on his back was from the day before.
